Driftwood The Oxbow Bend by Phillip Philbeck.

Sometimes timbers will fall into the waters or get swept away downstream by flood to be weathered by the elements into "driftwood." The grayed old stump and limbs stood out to Phillip Philbeck like bleached bones. Though beautiful, this is a reminder that this land can be harsh and unforgiving.
