Glidepath by Daniel Smith
Gavia immer
"My artisitc fascination with 'Glidepath' was in capturing the graphic fluid patterns of water created by the loon's movement. It was this element that most attracted me to paint this subject. The composition, with the loon's streamlined wake and placement on the right side of the painting was intended to lead your eye, creating a sense of swift and effortless movement, as though the loon could glide out of view, if you were to look away, even for a moment." - Daniel Smith.
Print released 1998.
