"This painting is of a ranch I drive past almost daily, and during the winters it has a quiet peacefulness about it. The winter sunset lends a magical glow to the landscape, and often there is very little sign of life except for the livestock which is part of this timeless setting. I found these sheep, keeping a winter watch, to be as much a part of this idyllic farmscape as the barn and silo, the snow and sky." - Paco Young.
