"The concept for this painting originated because of my children's excitement when my husband plants our garden each year. Each seed that pushes up through the earth to sprout - each flower that blooms - is like a miracle. Planting a garden with children is a chance to see the wonders of God's creation through new eyes, so I wanted the setting for this painting to be ideal, with colors as bright and fesh as a new box of crayons." - J.
