Little Fawn - Cree Indian Girl by James Bama

I first noticed Little Fawn at an Indian ceremony held in Cody, Wyoming. Cree and Flathead Indians had gathered one evening at the base of Cedar Mountain (which the Indians once called the sacred Spirit Mountain) and Little Fawn, dressed in traditional fringed buckskin and beadwork, seemed glad to be part of the grown-up activities. As the day's events drew to a close, she gave the Lord's Prayer in Indian sign language.
