As with "The Lamb of God," Liz seeks to fill in some of the space “between the lines” of what we commonly read about the life of Christ. “In several places,” Liz says, “scripture records Christ’s love for children. I wonder what children thought of him? I imagine scenes similar to this would have been common occurrences.”  Few have captured the combination of inner light and humanity in Christ the way Liz has.
