Big Cats captivate most wildlife artists and Carl Brenders is no exception. Brenders is particularly fascinated by their eyes. "By doing a close-up of a cat face, I could work with the reflections in the cat's eyes, which show its habitat" he says. In "Spellbound", he puts you on eye level with the lynx, enabling you to see what it sees!
