Cape Thunder - cape buffalo by John Banovich
Cape Thunder by John Banovich.
“The dramatic sight of a cape buffalo thundering towards you is a humbling experience to say the least. The sound of their plate sized hooves pounding the dry parched African soil mimics the power of a thunder storm over taking everything in its path. The concept for "Cape Thunder" came to me a few years ago, and while on safari I had to search for the perfect termite mound; one that possessed the same character and attitude of the cape buffalo. As almost always with buffalo, you find a loyal group of dining companions. As the buffalo chew grass the oxpeckers and buffalo weavers eat insects off of their bodies.” - John Banovich
Released 2012.
Artist proofs may be available.
