This poignant scene gives the viewer an intimate glimpse into the close relationship between a father and his son. The young soldier waits at the local  bus station to travel to his military assignment. As the father and son share a quiet moment, the young man's faithful dog gazes at him not knowing it may be a long time before he sees his master again.
