A drive through Texas is a learning experience. Oil derricks and cattle are seen side by side in many areas of the state. And it is hard to not think about how the landscape has changed because of black gold. Just imagine you are a rancher with herds of longhorns grazing contentedly on your land. And suddenly one day, you discover that you have more money under your land than atop it. That would give a lot more meaning to the phrase "Change of Fortune"!
