Entz's artistry extends to the composition of the painting, which is designed in a fiqure eight - resembling the way a shoelace is tied. Even the poster in the corner of the shop reinforces the theme of shoes. "The composition and design of the image are important," says Entz, "but more important to me was to convey that people still perform acts of kindness and have genuine concern for their fellow man." So saying, Entz creates a warm environment out of the normally dark and smoky setting, in which to capture an act of thoughtfulness.
